Gorky Film Studio is one of the oldest film studios in Russia, which has a rich portfolio with more than a thousand feature films and TV series.
In over 100 years, the studio became a cradle of Russian film production and made an indispensable contribution to the country’s cultural development. The studio constantly transformed and evolved throughout time which called for exciting and entertaining announcements and story-telling of these changes. Yet, the old website with outdated design and limited functionality failed to meet the goal of raising studio public awareness and giving insights on studio development. Besides, the pandemic created new challenges and prevented the studio from hosting large-scale offline events, which toppled their usual PR practices.
